Product Description

Made from top of the line materials and featuring an integrated raincover, the Escapist 25 is both bombproof and weatherproof. Anchored by a BioStretch harness and hipbelt, this low-profile pack is designed to keep the load balanced when descending rough terrain. The Airscape mesh backpanel provides ventilation when you’re grinding up the pass. Access to the main compartment comes via a convenient zippered front panel so you can see all your gear at a glance. A divider at the base of the pack provides segregated storage for stuff you want to prevent from commingling—post-ride clothing or perhaps a pair of sandals—with the rest of your gear. Additional features include a myriad of external storage options starting with three handy stretch mesh pockets—one on each side and another in the front. The hipbelt has twin zippered pockets and there’s another similar sized pocket on the shoulder strap. A zippered external front pocket keeps valuables secure and a non-scratch pocket protects your shades. The external hydration sleeve makes for easy reservoir refills. If you’re out after sunset, this pack features reflective accents and a blinker light attachment point for extra visibility.

I use this backpack for school, cycling, hiking, and short trips. The rain cover is awesome and very handy for protecting my electronics inside my backpack. The straps are amazing and make your heavy pack feel like nothing is on your back. I love all of the pockets. My 15" laptop only fits in with the bottom section completely unzipped, but it still leaves plenty of space for everything else. I love the hydration pack section too. I bought a 2.5L bladder and it fits perfectly and the straps have plenty of little loops to keep the straw tied down. The helmet holder works great too, but does make it difficult to get into the pockets when the helmet is attached -- a minor inconvenience. Overall this pack is high quality and definitely worth the money.Great backpack overall, despite a few minor flaws. The bottom compartment and top compartments can be combined by unzipping the "door" on the inside. Note that with the top and bottom compartments separated (inner zipper "door" closed) a 14 inch laptop is sort of a tight fit in the top compartment. It works but it ends up being pushed all the way to the top and interferes with the small pocket on the top. Also the cell phone pouch on the front is useless for any modern smart phone.Awesome pack design for storage but the pack’s frame was a bit smaller than I anticipated. It looks amazing. I was not a fan of the shoulder straps size and the frame width. The straps and frame are pretty narrow compared to other Osprey models. I returned it for a larger Osprey. This is by far the best backpack I have had in my life. I did a lot of research before buying this, tried to find a used one without luck, but knew this would be just right. It makes everything else I've ever owned or borrowed seem like junk, it was worth the splurge esp. as I expect it will last me many many years.Does what it is supposed to do and has tons of pockets! I have had this backpack for almost a year now, and nothing has come apart. I’ve hiked with it up to halfdome and taken it to Utah without any issues. Would I buy it again? Yes I would!I have had lots of hiking packs in numerous amounts of brands, this is by far my favorite! It is a little smaller than what I am used to but perfect for a weekend hiking trip or a single day trip. I only plan on investing in Osprey from now on when purchasing a new pack, definitely worth every penny.Excellent day bag to take to work. Plenty of storage and organization options. plenty of room to take lunch and extra gear for the ride home when the weather has changed. Better than my old messenger bag as it distributes the load much better. It needs some kind of external straps or loops to tie stuff to. Besides this it's great. It's hard to go wrong with Osprey, as this is undoubtedly one of the top brands. This backpack is just another proof of the well thought-out design and quality materials and workmanship for which Osprey is known among hikers, bikers and other outdoorsmen. The 25-litre volume is possibly too much for a minimalist for a day trip, but it served me quite well in the past when I decided to go out in iffy weather and needed a Gore-Tex jacket, spare warmer clothing and some protective headgear to be on the comfy side. Just for a few hours of road biking it's probably too much. Oh, one final important comment: the apparent mobile phone pocket on the shouder strap is way too small for any normal-sized smart phone - and that was my only disapointment.Really like this Sports Pack, it's light, has plenty of room and in the colour that I liked.I do a regular commute of 20 miles a day, all year round, and needed a dedicated bag. I always have stuff to carry but it varies from day to day.The escapist 25 has more than enough room for anything I need to carry and with the other, well thought out, features I can't rate it more highly. An excellent product. Probably got more pockets than I will ever need!Well it isn't a bad rucksack as such but quality is no good. Zip is broken after 4 months use so I can only zip it half way now. Disappointed!
