It’s water tight so far, and we’ve had record rainfall this week! It’s true to size, but the only issue with it is the neck opening is very big! I have it on the tightest holes and it’s very loose. I’m hoping I can find a way to cinch it up tighter. Otherwise it fits her body well, has kept her warm and dry, and the price was great ??Absolutely love this! Fits nicely and cleaning it is easy too.I purchased two of these blankets, they only lasted 2 months before the first sign of construction issues.The first one, girth strap came un-stitched so I had to repair. (luckily, I can do this). The second blanket, cameapart on the back seam, which had to be repaired as well. They do run big despite the description. It's really toobad, they are good looking blankets and have kept my horses dry, so far.Nice quality and fits well. my daughter loves the color!Unfortunately the strap broke the first time he wore it and it seems to run really big...bought another one elsewhere and the same size fit?I read the two previous reviews and am happy to say I've not had any such experience. I LOVE THIS BLANKET. It's a perfect weight for Southern California cold nights (35-55 degree) and the generous size fits my Clydesdale perfectly (super high withers, short back, long length for long legs)!It's beautifully made - no rips, no tears, no buckle issues (that being said, he is not turned out in this blanket). Everyone comments on how gorgeous my horse looks with his red 'jammies' on, and even after our two recent El Nino downpours, my horse was cozy, warm and dry!! I would buy this blanket again and again - I absolutely love it!
